Chris bought me a puppy! Meet Toby! We adopted him from the shelter in NC he is 13 weeks, Shepard/Lab and he is full of energy! This is the first time that i have had a puppy and its alot of work! He has chewed both pairs of my rainbow sandals, but at least he has not gotten a hold of any of my really expensive shoes! He is just like having a kid, lots of attention. But its been nice having something to do during the day since i have not had any luck with getting a job!

Home Alone

Well Chris took off on Wednesday for another race in Connecticut and i stayed home. This was the first time that i was home alone for a few days in a new state! I managed to keep myself busy, i went to the AMA races at VIR, went to a friends house for dinner, cleaned my house (ALOT). But Chris will be home tonight, and i am so excited. I missed him so much!
Since Chris and I have started to look for our own house our realtor and I have become Friends! Its been so nice to have a friend here that i can go to lunch with or whatever! She also introduced me to a few of her girlfriends. Chris and I are going to a dinner party next Friday night, its kinda like a potluck! We are excited to meet some other young couples! I am really starting to feel like this is my home, i just need my stuff and my own house and i think i am set!

Well we made it home from Portland, we had a great time. It was so cool to see Chris do what he does best, he is so good at what he does and it really shows! I am so proud of him. My parents were also able to come out to Portland and spend a few days with us! We were so tired when we got home that we slept all day long!

Adventure to PORTLAND

Well Chris and I started our Wednesday morning out with a little breakfast, little TV, pretty relaxed because we knew that we would be spending the whole day traveling. Once we got to the Airport Chris dropped me off at my terminal as i was flying on a different airline, and he went to drop off our truck and then make his way to his flight. Well i had no problems i got checked in, waited for my flight and then took on and i was on my way to Dallas TX! On my flight i got stuck in the very back, where they put all the children under 5! NOW i LOVE kids, but flying with them is a different story! I had 2 children under the age of 3 sitting right next to me as well as there mother. They were very cute little girls, but the stabbing, spilling, yelling, crying, mommy, mommy, mommy i just couldn't handle it anymore.
So when the plane finally landed i was thrilled! So i awaited my next flight to Portland, but as i waited i got a phone call from Chris telling me that they had cancelled all the flights from Raleigh he was, STILL AT HOME!!!! He told me that he would not be leaving that day and that he would TRY to catch the flight leaving the next morning, so he drove back to our happy home and went to bed, as i continued with my happy trails. Well i just had one problem ahead of me, I HAD NO PLACE TO SPEND THE NIGHT!! The hotel was in the companies name and i was not apart of the company and they had already called the hotel informing them that they would not be there that night so to cancel the rooms! so Chris made some phone calls and the next thing i knew i was on the shuttle to the hotel and i was staying in a room. I was so exhausted that i just wanted to relax in the spa and go to bed, well the spa didn't work so well as there were children jumping in and out of the spa splashing and yelling....so relaxing in the spa didn't happen so i tried to fall asleep but then the people in the next room were talking really loud, had the TV all the way up, pounding on the walls...so i had a horrible sleep.
So here i sit in the hotel room, awaiting a call from Chris to let me know that he made it on a plane and what time he will be here!
Well it can only get better from here!!! I'm so excited to be here and really see what Chris does, as well as see my family! Ill post some pictures next week when we get back.

NEW DO!!

I finally got my hair done! I was so excited when i was finally able to paper myself, and have a little girl time with my hair dresser! It took me a little while to find my hair dresser and even when i did i was really scketchy about the place, but everything turned out great. The best part is THE PRICE! The cost to get your hair done is half the pirce of the cost in california!!

Washington DC Trip & California

Well i feel like my Birthday just keeps on going and going...... Chris took me to DC, and we had so much fun! We walked all over DC, my feet have never hurt so bad in my life. We saw all the great monuments, took lots of pictures. Then when we drove home and we went right through a major storm there was hail the size of quarters the temperature dropped from 87 to 63 in 5min! It was so scary. But we finally made it home safe and sound, and i told Chris we had to move! lol.

Well a few days later i flew back home to California, and had a blast there too! I went and saw Wicked the play with my cousin, worked the Taste of Anaheim with my mom (always a good time) went to a concert and saw Jeremy Fisher & O.A.R with my cousin and 2 Friends, went to a bridal shower, went shopping, went to Six flags....and i think that's about it it was a really busy week! I was glad to get back to my slow pace lifestyle in Danville Virginia! lol.

MY Birthday

Well i finally have another female in the house now! Travis's girlfriend Krystal is here to stay for a month. I can't tell you how nice it is to not have to talk about cars all the time!!

Today is my brithday and we are going to go layout at the club-house pool! Its so beautiful there. Its nice to have a girlfriend that likes to layout too, otherwise i would be at home all day by myself...Then later tonight Chris is going to take me out to dinner, and then tomorrow we are going to washington DC! I'm so excited to go and see all the history that DC has to offer. We are making it a couples weekend so Travis & Krystal are coming with us. Then i am going back to California next Wednesday for a week, it will be nice to see my friends and family. I feel like my Birthday is going to last for a long time!!

Chris' New Toy

Well Chris also had a great day, he got a new bike!! Hes been trying to talk me into this for a long time and i guess it took a move to Virginia for him to get it. He needed a car to get to and back from work, as Volkswagen took away the company car he was using, he told me that he wouldn't buy the bike if he could take our truck! Well i have been stuck at home long enough and i want to get a job! Now i have to get a job! Well heres a pic of my sexy husband!

Our Truck Got Here

So today Chris called me to tell me that our truck had arrived!! I never thought that i would get so excited over something like this! But now this means that I'm not stuck at home doing the same thing i do every day. I was more excited because this means that the rest of my was also here! It was like Christmas for me, but with stuff that i already had. Each box was a new surprise. So now i have a complete kitchen, a closet full of clothes, movies, and so much more!

All i need now is some friends and i could entertain!

But now that i have a car i am looking forward to getting a job, exploring Danville, and meeting new people! Well i gotta start packing, I'm going to California tomorrow!

Our Weekend!

Well Chris and I had an eventful weekend, we went to the movies, Go-Karting (by the way the go-karting here is way better then California, and I can keep up with the boys too!) we also went on a hike! Living in Virginia has opened up many new activities for Chris and I to do together, that we never did in California. So far life here is good! Chris and I are also looking forward to going back to California on Friday! Unfortunately Chris has to leave that Sunday night (late) but i will be staying for a few extra days!
